That is typical for all 50's and 60's mopars.... I have no knowledge of anyone repro-ing the pieces. I usually go to a local wrecking yard to get a good one or get one off one of our parts cars. Right now, we don't have any 1960's mopar except the 60 Polara coupe we are working on. If I see one around, I will email you.

Has this piece been reproduced by anyone ? What do folks generally do for this problem ? Ron I have the same problem with my `60 DeSoto. I have done new lower lip by hand. It is not welded in yet (I broke my wrist) but I´ll start that work soon (before snow falls). I made a wooden template with the correct "curve" and attached the 1mm metal sheet over the template. Then it was only "few" hours hammering with patience. I can try to take some pictures of my stone age tools if some one interested? -jupe- |
