Location: Under the X in Texas | Many of you followed my purchase early this year of a 14,xxx mile club sedan from another ForwardLook member, Jim Helm. From Jim I purchased all the extras he had for the car which included a rebuilt 383 and torqueflite and a bunch of parts and wheels and tires. This year I have had very significant increase in a migraine headache problem I have had for the last few years and I ended up having all the mechanical work done professionally on the car after I pulled the original 326 V8 and Powerflite out. The car now has the rebuilt 383 and again refreshed torqueflite, new dual exhaust, AAJ front disc brakes, radial tires on 15" Mopar rallye wheels, it is lowered with 1" blocks rear and has a performance front alignment with extra degrees of caster. KYB Gas-a-Just shocks all 4 corners. New master cylinder, rebuilt generator, rebuilt water pump, new hoses and belts of course. The radiator was redone, the fuel tank was done by Tank ReNu and has a new sender. New fuel lines and brake lines and hoses. New Edelbrock carburetor, new cast aluminum finned valve covers, new moon finned alum air cleaner, new Pertronix alum distributor and P'trx coil. (I need to replace the older engine compartment pic with a current one with new carb and air cleaner) I did not do anything about the original heater core which appears to have leaked long ago and the body repair done about 1960 still needs redone. I did polish out all the paint and chrome. This car has the deluxe interior option but the seat cloth and foam rubber is deteriorated. I am still having headaches and my doctors don't have a clue what is causing them and I am going to sell the car at this point. You can decide whether you want to just paint the quarter panel that needs it or change colors. You can decide if you want to customize the seats or order SMS cloth. This car will drive home to wherever you live right now. I'll take other pics of whatever details you inquire about. If you come with a pickup and trailer, I'll put the original 326 /PFlite in the bed for free. I will show you the receipts and include them with the sale of the car. You are saving MANY THOUSANDS under what I have invested in this car if you meet my firm price of $12,000. Location: Under the X in Texas | The car was not purchased by a Forwardlooker. He is a general Mopar enthusiast, however. It went to Shreveport, LA. The orig. 326 and Powerflite from the car, which had been offered here inexpensively earlier but never sold, went free to the new buyer. All I can tell y'all is that he got one heckuva deal at the final price including all kinds of parts, that filled a Home Depot shelving unit, that I had received from Jim Helm with the car. I'm now on a medication that is significantly helping the migraines - thank you to several who have sent personal notes of concern. Wayne | ||
