I would take "local pick up" to mean "come and get it if you win the auction" --- he isn't going to help arrange shipping or anything of the sort.  Another way to say it might have been the old line of "As is, where is" that dealers and individuals used to use.  At least I think this is what he means.  Car appears to have lots of potential if the price remains attractive.

Sorry all you FL lovers, but this one is going for a long vacancy in Sweden! and as for Steve "seller", he´s one of the nicest guy´s i´ve had the chance to talk to in usa! you see my brother sold a saratoga 57 and couldn´t really get over it. what to do? you guessed it, find another! look in my album and you will see the " old" saratoga! This one we won´t mess with, just make it run, polish and some paint refurbish. a set of wire wheels and tlc on interior. then use it on "cruisings" have fun! Morgan

Morgan, you might surprise yourself as to how much pure-restoration work goes into this car, once you get it to its new home,
and, you discover how nice the car really is, and how deserving it may be, for receiving a complete restoration!

Arizona/Nevada/New Mexico have very low humidity and rainfall, and little or no snow so the cars tend to be rust free ... but have been exposed to high temps and a lot of sun.

Idaho/Montana/Wyoming get more rainfall and snow then the desert states, but are still relatively dry compared to the rest of the states ...

My point? A car from Wyoming generally won't have MAJOR rust issues and the original interior will still be in good shape. This car is proof.

Neil, i promise you that it´s going to get "a whole lot of attention" but a car is only original once! we have to much going on at the moment so a frame off is not possibly at the moment! we must bring it up to safety standards and fix all issues with sheetmetal and interior, then in the future we might hunt down a nice fourdoor that is loaded, and use as partscar! I think saratogas both 57 and 58 models are neat with that extra colored part of the rear fenders!

Morgan, you are money-ahead with being able to re-use the OEM seat vinyl embossment-sections, and, the printed-
vinyl door/quarter trim panels, too.

The 57 Saratogas really have nice interior appointments.

Nice car.
