Board Moderator & Exner Expert 10K+ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: .Norfolk..Mafia.. ,England UK | POSTED FOR NEIL D500 So, there it was, in SUN 5/9/10 L.A. Times, an article about a large private automobile collection, in Oxnard, CA. The collector, Peter Mullin by name, recognized that the submerged remains of a car was worthy of preserving in its as-recovered condition, as part of his 100-car collection. Now, why would somebody do such a thing? "It's the beauty from the deep....you can't possibly improve on it. How could you replace that patina?" ....talk to Ultra-None, about that, I guess. So, the fact that this car is French makes Ms. Belvie even more worthy of preservation, as-was! Oh, well; we'll always have Paris--I mean: TULSA! Same thing, right?

Now, who would ever want to see a derelict car (that obviously is "rusting-to-dust", as 'they' said, about Ms Belvie, after her long bath), being in such a condition as that ?
