That is not just a nice 300C!

That car has been described hereabouts previously (a couple times)

Would love to see some high resolution closeups of this 300. It sure gets my attention, would love to see it in person. Last time I think it popped up in Tennessee?

Steve.

Sure wish I had better photos of this car (cheapy camera).

I was sorting my photos the other day when I found these...I admit that they are a few years old. They were taken at the Lexington Concours Show (KY).

Grand car!

That Pontiac is a US built job, not a typical Canadian based Chevviac.

A 1964 Canadian built Valiant, which is a Dart with a Valiant clip bolted on. They were sold at both Dodge and Plymouth dealers, and not branded either a Plymouth or Dodge. Starting in 67 Canada got both Valiants and Darts.

This particular car was owned for years in the 90s and early 2000s by a private court-server, who used this for the business to serve documents.

I had a cold a snowy day the other day to drive around the back country between two jobs
and spotted a bunch of cars. I will post photos as time allows.

Here is a 40's-something. Looks to be a post-war GM, but hard to tell exactly what.

Actually, that's a '69 Mercury Montego wagon, fairly rare. I saw it on a different forum, she's for sale on Craigslist.

I spotted a 63 Ford Galaxie, a 51 Desoto and 65 Ford Custom 500 but I never got to take pics of the first two before that guy who had them sold them. I bought the 65 Custom 500 which is now my first actual car since I only ride bicycles.

I will post the pic of the 65 later if anyone asks.

Sure ... 65 was one of Ford's better years. Crisp, clean, integrated lines. The Custom series
is kinda funky (el cheapo), which makes for added character. I think the 65 full size wagon is
one of the best looking wagons ever built.

I like 2 doors but 4 and wagons are always good. Plus you don't have to wait for someone to get in.

Yep it sure is basic except it had a V8 instead of the 6. Tropical Turquoise 289 V8 C4 dual range auto and radio delete. It's Florida so like some of the FL Mopar years it needs floor & other hidden body rust work.

Yeah unfortunately we do. I believe it was fully driven last in the early 90's since I found a 1992 quarter colored like the rust and the speakers someone added for an under dash radio were from the late 80's. shows over 7000 but it might be 107.

No pic but he has a early 50's Dodge truck for sale with a 318.

Methinks we're missing the boat here, Boss.

The idea of Car Spotting is posting photographs of cars we see currently sitting in a neglected or non-
hobby-involved state. No car show or oldtime photos (those have dedicated threads themselves). The
idea being to capture that "as found" appearance that was once so common, and is becoming rarer and
rarer as these cars get restored.

Those last two look like they were shot in Panama !

Here's a '57 Imperial that was given to me. It's been sitting in the woods for 40 plus years. Mostly complete, windows broken out, flooded with brackish water from Hurricane Ike, but it's mine if I can get it out. Also there is a modified frame with a complete 392 that's also mine if I can get it out. The ground it's all sitting in stays damp year round, so I'm not couting on much.

I didn't know they were that rare. Once I pull it out I'll post more pictures. In my opinion this car is far beyond restoration. My plans are to part it out to fund my new resto project, minus the parts that I want to keep. If there is enough interest I'll offer it for sale complete.

I'm surprised that the fan belts and heater hose clamps look so new still. Maybe it won't be a bad as you fear.

Backing up for a sec... Anyone know what the deal is with the 300 C? The custom trim is pretty convincing.

Following up on leads for parts for my '57 Dodges and found these...
The white one is on property long abandon with no help from the neighbors as to who owns it.
The 2 tones owner has been collecting parts for a couple of yrs. He is now retired and ready to start this spring...

I can't remember if it was in this thread where it was discussed, but it has been kicked
around on this forum somewhere. The car is well documented. Should be something on
it on the 300 Club site ???
