Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | Man, you guys out west have all the deals. I'd check this one out myself for sure if it were closer!! If I remember correctly, the Canadian Windsor is the USA Saratoga, right? So this car's wheelbase and front clip should be full-size Chrysler. No they are not stock for the Canadian Windsor. They definitely don't look good there.

Elite Veteran Posts: 782 Location: Edmonton, Alberta | Mick.... they're what we call studded tires. The metal things you see are the studs and they are exactly for that. Improved traction on ice and snow. You don't see them too often anymore.. illegal in a lot of places because they're hard on pavement (so I'm told). Oddly enough here in Alberta, I have no clue if you can still use them here or not! They were very common here years ago.

Veteran Posts: 239 Location: Stanga, Gotland Sweden | The studded tires are very common in Sweden, we have a law that says that we must have studded or lamella (lot of slizes in the rubber) tires from Dec 1:th to march 31:th //Roger

Expert Posts: 1737 Location: Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada | I'd have snagged it, if I didn't already have my 57. Although, I'm not as fond of the 58's. The shrunken taillights and the side trims don't look as nice as the 57's, in my opinion.

New User Posts: 2 | For all interested, if anyone can still see this. I am the owner of this car, and yes, in Alberta it is difficult to find the right buyer. The car is indeed still for sale, though currently not listed. I still do not have the space for it, but would love to see this car go to someone else who would appreciate it. Let me know, as i joined this forum to reply to this thread Thanks for the interest and do not hesitate to ask any questions
