Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | Almost a twin to my car. I like the looks of the sportone inserts. I'll add them on mine sometime in the future. Seller is a member here I think. The front bumper is not original, but I can't figure out from what car it is.. I would guess 1961 Chrysler? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-Mayfair-1959-Dodge-Mayfair-Sed... 4 door original car. Was repainted a few years ago in the original color (but with a bit more pearl). The interior is original and has been very well looked after. The headliner is rough, but I have a brand new one that has not yet been put in that comes with the car. The flathead 6 runs great. Push button transmission works well. This car is my daily driver. It has collector plates, so I drive it everywhere but work. This car is very very pretty. Brakes are soft, I'm still driving it, but I have to give them a pump. 42000 miles on the clock. Don't know if it's been over, but it's so pretty that my guess is no. The original insert material should be a sort of shiny vinyl/cloth combo. My car's seats are original and it's a very particular material. The seller actually told me the inserts were redone in an email he sent me a while back.. The carpet is new too as these Mayfairs came with rubber carpeting originally. I'm actually surprised how well the 1961-62 bumper fits on a '59 Dodge. Although the grille seem to have needed some tinkering for the bumper to fit so well. | ||
