Elite Veteran Posts: 755 Location: Big M Automotive's Yard | I am selling my 1959 Desoto Firedome 4dr Sedan. 98% rustfree sheet metal. Driver quality paint, Trim on right side has sheet metal screws holding it on. Engines runs excellent, transmission shifts well, brakes were working two years ago, but may need to be rebuilt. Carburetor needs to be rebuilt. Chrome is presentable, not rusty. Seats have been recovered in black vinyl. Dash was covered in leopard print material. Floors are uncarpeted and rust free. Has aftermarket a/c, not sure if it works. Clear title will be available to buyer. All this could be yours for $3450.00. Expert 5K+ Posts: 7807 Location: Williams California | Here's a few photos I have from a local show the car was driven to two years ago. We just don't use the car, and want to find someone that can give it the TLC that it needs. ---John (Pioneer Day '09 005.jpg) (Pioneer Day '09 006.jpg) Attachments ---------------- Pioneer Day '09 005.jpg (153KB - 100 downloads) Pioneer Day '09 006.jpg (145KB - 82 downloads)

Chris, this car has your name written all over it! I think you should pull the trigger... Really though, I think it's a heck of a fair price for a running, driving DeSoto! Goodluck with the sale!

Expert Posts: 2932 Location: Lemoore CA | It has been my personal experiance that the 59 Desoto feels heavier and better built than the Chrysler contemporaries. I was always surprised at how solid and expensive the one I had felt.
