So many nice, dry cars. Good to see Bo is still messing with 59 Dodges. What's the story with that 59 Dodge missing a windshield frame ? Is that a cut down 2dr HT or a real convertible ?

Desert Valley: WHY do they pile cars on top of other cars, thereby destroying the lower car ? I'll bet that pink 59 Dodge wagon was very restorable before the mid-60s [whatever] was dropped on its roof.

Hey, isn't that "puke green" '57 Plymouth 4-door at Desert Valley the one Doc just bought and sent to Big M for some "work". Great move, John, hope you made some money on the deal! LOL

On my way home from Tulsa I stopped by Dvap's 2 yards. That '58 Dodge 2-dr HT was complete at the time and restorable. Now its missing nearly half a side. They certainly don't treat their cars delicately "in case" someone would like to buy a car whole. It's all about the money, not the cars.

But if it's all about the money, they're certainly not helping their cause by piling cars on top of each other. All that glass in the 59 Dodge wagon appears to be solex. Anyone out there doing a wagon (the glass will interchange with all 57-9 4dr wagons) want to outfit their car with solex to replace the clear stuff currently on your project ? Well, you could've before DV dropped another car on their wagon, (probably) breaking most of what they had.

I can't speak for what they think but i can tell you first hand that their prices were optimistically up in the clouds high. Junk yards which deal with these cars typically are and I don't fault anyone for trying to make some money but these folks were unrealistically high. I'm not sure who they sell to but they do have a LOT of cars a lot of which could be restorable.
