I installed the relays for to relieve the original cable harness, light switch and the hi/low switch. When I measured before I installed the relays, I had 10,37 Volts on the Low beam and 9,53 Volts on the High beam - when I measured after installing the relays, the Low beam had 11,95 Volts and the High beam 12,3 Volts (Battery tension was 12,6 Volt in both measurements). For conversion from mm² to US gauge, see link below; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_wire_gauge#Table_of_AWG_wire_... Expert 5K+ Posts: 8443 Location: Perth Australia | These are a favorite of mine I mount this somewhere conveniant (close as possible to the radiator support), open the wiring harness, find the low beam and high beam wires and cut them, then the high and low beam wires from the dash end go to S1 and S2, head light ends go to L1 and L2, B to battery pos and S to ground. You do not have to be particular with which circuit (high or low) go to S1, just so long as if its low input on S1, then low output should be on L1 I also found this schematic on the net That schematic would be a kit, but easy to make and hard to go wrong as its an "over the top" system that just plugs into your orriginal headlight plug and you add the extra wiring. Its totally removeable if for some reason you want to take it off Edited by ttotired 2013-08-16 8:37 PM ($(KGrHqMOKjsE1qt8045HBNjk8dG9hQ~~_12.jpg) (ne wiring.jpg) Attachments ---------------- $(KGrHqMOKjsE1qt8045HBNjk8dG9hQ~~_12.jpg (47KB - 414 downloads) ne wiring.jpg (124KB - 3380 downloads)

Expert Posts: 2312 Location: Arizona | It is a sweet setup but it's $130 for the $25 worth of parts it takes to do it with the universal relays.

Expert Posts: 2312 Location: Arizona | Apparently you can get the relays in AU for around $30 but not in the US. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-ERA-HEADLIGHT-TWIN-RELAY-12Volt-30Amps-... And a two relay kit that's not a bad price... http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Headlight-Relay-Harness-Kit,58825.htm... Edited by jimntempe 2013-08-16 10:34 PM

Sorry for that - made the schematic in Swedish - it means "to be plugged with silicone" (because you don't use one of the cars original connectors)
