Member Posts: 6 Location: Houston, Tx | These carburetor numbers were used on the following motors as a dual quad set-up:1958 Desoto Adventurer 361ci LS-3S and the 1958 Plymouth Fury 350ci LP2-S All shafts turn freely, bases are flat (used straight edge to check), no chips or cracks on the bodies, floats are still good, they have correct metering rods. No tags so I believe they have been rebuilt at least once. They came apart easy when I inspected the inside, both have oxidation in the bowls but no pitting. They choke cap has two pieces broke off the edge, they fit back real well but do not know if this can be repaired. The 2653 accelerator pump lever has been repaired earlier in its life and has the wrong rod. The 2653 also looks to have had extra holes drilled in the base for another application. I have taken every screw out of these carbs and all of the threads are good on the screws and the bodys of the carbs. Both carbs are in very shape but need a complete cleaning and rebuild. Because this is a matched pair I will not sell separatly, only as a pair. Please PM any responses and or questions. No trades I only take US postal Money Orders as payment. $895.00+Shipping to the lower 48 states Edited by bjinx 2011-09-27 2:29 PM (Front.JPG) (Left.JPG) (Right.JPG) (Bottom.JPG) (Top.JPG) (2653.JPG) (2652.JPG) (361.JPG) (Plastic 1.JPG) (Plastic 2.JPG) Attachments ---------------- Front.JPG (163KB - 173 downloads) Left.JPG (160KB - 109 downloads) Right.JPG (155KB - 140 downloads) Bottom.JPG (163KB - 154 downloads) Top.JPG (151KB - 129 downloads) 2653.JPG (148KB - 127 downloads) 2652.JPG (138KB - 126 downloads) 361.JPG (127KB - 136 downloads) Plastic 1.JPG (151KB - 148 downloads) Plastic 2.JPG (147KB - 150 downloads) | ||
