Hi Guys just want to find out if anyone has any 1957 Plymouth Fury 2x4 Carburetors for a 318 poly I know that they are rare,
these are the model numbers and I think the '57 & '58 carbs are very similar...

Carter WCFB 2631S Front
Carter WCFB 2632S Rear

1958 Plymouth Fury 2x4 Carburetors for a 318 Poly

Carter WFB 2761S Front
Carter WFB 2762S Rear

Any help or information would be appreciated in tracking these down

Thank You

Roberto

Hi there, I have the 2x4 manifold Part No.factory 1822004 Dual quad manifold for my 318 polyshere motor;
the original carburetor set up is the Carter WCFB 2631 and 2632...I have been told that I can use the 2 Edelbrock Carburetor 1405 's 2x4 on it and they are 500cfm rated as against the 400 cfm from factory .Can you let them down to make them work. Also If you put a pair of these onto a factory manifold would I need a spacer between the carb and manifold so the butterflies don't hit on the manifold, If I want to run the factory cleaners with the edelbrock carbs will I need an adaptor for them as the neck size is different. Can I have these set up for my 2x4 manifold. Are there any other Carburetor brand that I can use eg AFB, what ones would be the ones and also I have heard that the Holleys are to big for 2x4 factory setup... Cheers

Roberto

If you are interested, I have for sale a set of oval air filtrers that were modified (not by me) to be used with 6" round air filters.
They retain the stock look of the 2x4 setup and have an adaptator to any 5"1/2 modern carb.

I won't be using them since I have the correct WCFB carbs.
