Call 'em up and find out! But i seriously doubt, since they are out there, they won't understand what you are asking, with that WV 'ignrnt hik' accent,,,,,,,,,,,.

If that car had the guard and stone shields, I'd think about fetting it for the factory A/C setup.

Yes, a '61 with Factory A/C. I can't see it but it may have the Rare clock, but I don't see it. If it does, it alone is worth what they are asking for the car. It has dual mirrors also. I have made a call about the clock for those of you that are closer to the the car. I'll hear back from him in a couple of hours as he is not home.

It does not have a clock. However this might be a good donor car for the '61 Vert that I'm selling. Depending on the floor pans. And to have a Vert with A/C would be a plus.

Dorsey, that is the reason I was interisted, the A/C unit. But Since it's farther away from me than you, I would want the other parts on it I'm looking for.

You go get it. That sedan would make a COMPLETE' package' for you!

A/C on a convt, to some, is about as useless as air brakes on a turtle. To those who like the A/C durning the hottest part of the day, then top down during the cool of the evening is the only way to go.

The A/C would fit well into my '61 Pioneer as she doesn't have one...but doesn't make sense for me to buy the car just for the A/C as I'm located in Germany and would have to ship the whole car over here!

Backhead, (or anyone else) for the $800.00BUK selling price, you might talk the seller into parting out only the
complete A/C and then selling the remains to remains to Big M, or someone else.

$800.00 is not a bad price for the complete A/C system---complete, as in COMPLETE system, with dashboard & vents.

Hey O D-500 one! This guy is out there in yer neck of the woods. You all speak the same dialect. What the he!! is that 'gas floater' he's talkin' about? Wuckey and I are courious,,,,,,,,? We NEVER heard of such a item.

That's a EXCELLENT idea you have there Neil! Glad you thought of it! YOU can go take the A/C unit off for "backhead" (or anyone else) that way, some 'illegal' won't, FORGET or BREAK, an important part! Since old "blackhead" is clear over there in England, YOU can box/pack the unit up real nice and secure, for shipping! Then, YOU can call ole "Scratchey Beard" up there to come and get the remains!

Mighty nice of you to volounteer yer services to 'help out' a fellow hobbiest! Yes sir, it is! Do you know there are some on this web site, ALL they do is 'keyboard suggestions' wanting someONE else to send THEM information, so THEY can 'pick apart' a vehicle that,,,,, get this,,,,, doesn't even belong to THEM!

The seller is like 4 driving hours away from here.

I'm sure that the seller would be happy to have someone show up with 800bux cash-money and allow him to part-out the
complete A/C system and leave the remains of the car to be sold to someone else, for more money---worst case scenario
he takes the remains to a crusher/pick-your-part place; there's several such places relatively close to him.

That's what's in it for the seller; a salvor or a restorer would love to have-at the good hard-parts in the car.

THANKS for the 'look see'! Was you able to find out what the "gas floater" thing was?

Car didn't have the rear bumper guard, or a passenger side stone/gravel shield did it?

Can't beat THAT offer! A FwdLK guy who will make sure EVERY little fastner/bolt/screw/bracket/wire/switch/etc, is removed right along with the 'big' items! That oughta' be worth a jar of moonshine!

Thanks for the info,,,,,,,,,,,. As I mentioned, "IF" it had the rear guard and shields, I'd seriously consider getting it, and 'stripping' it out at "Fuzzy Beard's" Appreciation Party!

No I have not bidded. Hoping to 'go in' with someone so I can get the bumpers/guards and both stone shields.

NO! That is NOT FACTORY AC! That is an aftermarket unit. The California sedan has the OEM AC unit

I would "jump in" with you if it had the factory AC! But makes no sense for me in this case! :-(

Anyone interetsed in the "rest around the AC" of the California one?

As I mentioned earlier. "IF" the 'Calif' factory AC Dodge, had the shields and rear guard. It would be at Big M's already! Either, this year's Customer Appriciation Day, or ole Bristle Beard's next whing-ding, I would be out there and we/him/whoever, would carefully dismantle the AC unit, carefully packaging it to be transfered into the convt. Leaving him what I don't need.
