Location: The Centennial State | This was news to me! http://www.chrysler300club.com/events.htm It sounds like a fun event. Maybe Joe will bring MDII? Does anyone else want to go? I will be great to see a bunch of 300 letter cars roaring around the streets here!

Location: The Centennial State | Ray Jones posted this on the listserv: Glad to help Mike! And to all you Forward Lookers out there, try to stop by our 300 Club meet and play with us. Everyone is welcome, and encouraged to come with or without your cars. We are usually in the parking lot each evening, lying and bragging and having a drink or few. We will be at the: Table Mountain Inn, 1310 Washington Ave., Golden, CO 80401 Dates: September 19-23, 2012 On Wednesday we are arriving and will be hanging around the Lobby or Parking Lot. Thursday, we are going to visit the Cussler Auto Collection, on Friday, Coors Brewery (of course) That evening we will be inside and not out in the parking lot until later on. Saturday we will be at the Shelby American Museum, with our cars on display there also. 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. So, come visit, more than a few of us are on the Forward Look List-server and would love to meet all y'all. Location: The Centennial State | It looks like the registration deadline was 9/5, so perhaps I can register at the event. It would be fun to at least attend the show on Saturday in Boulder.

Expert Posts: 1209 Location: Ponder, TX | It looks like I might make it to Colorado on that weekend. I would attend a reunion in Manitou Springs...arriving Friday evening. I'd be free Saturday until late afternoon, so I'm thinking of trying to make the 300 display at the museum in Boulder. Sure would enjoy meeting some Denver area FL friends, if we can arrange a time and place to meet.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1107 Location: Arvada, Colorado (NW Denver Metro Area) | Golden is 15 mins away from me, Boulder is 20 mins from me and the Cussler museum is 5 mins away, (you will like the musuem) So I will take my convert out and hang around to see all those 300's. Neat to have the show so close to us.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1107 Location: Arvada, Colorado (NW Denver Metro Area) | Don't know if I will be at the Saturday show, but might make the Cussler museum event and park on the street for all to gaze upon in admiration of what a fine Plymouth it is... You know lower trim level in comparison to the upper trim level 300's!

Expert Posts: 1209 Location: Ponder, TX | Bad news for my trip. My wife was in the hospital for testing today, and even though she's out now they still don't know what's wrong with her. I don't dare travel that far away until they determine what's causing her problems, and she is feeling better. I was also told by my builder that they need me to buy off on the framing this weekend so they can get a draw. I could probably put that one off until Monday, but it's just one more thing I should attend to, and would feel guilty about. I really hate to miss both the reunion and the 300 show, and especially meeting all of you, but guess my visit will have to wait until next year when I combine it with a Seattle visit. At least we'll be moved into the new house, and I'll be three hours closer to Denver. I'll try to schedule that trip to coincide with one of your local shows, and also allow more time to do a few things in the area. Have fun and take pictures...wish I could be there.

Location: The Centennial State | Sorry to hear that Gary. It is always best to put first things first! I hope she has a speedy and full recovery. I plan to take plenty of pictures - I am sorry we will miss you this time!

Location: The Centennial State | Roving ForwardLook.net reporter and newest Chrysler 300 Club member, the Honorable John Quinn, sent the following schedule and teasers for our review. He and eminent 300 authority Rick Clapham went to Golden for a sneak peek this afternoon! Elite Veteran Posts: 1107 Location: Arvada, Colorado (NW Denver Metro Area) | Sorry that the pics were dark as the cars were staged on the second floor of the covered garage at the Table Mountain Inn. A couple of the 300's were under car covers and being polite, I dared not lift the cover. Rick Clapham and I had lunch there a the host hotel and mingled around a bit. Rick has a 61 300G that he has had since the 70's but is buried in his garage and we could not get it out without a lot of work to uncover. So he is well versed in the 300 lore. Rick and I did joint the 300 Club as we both had money to burn in our pockets and signed up. At least we can mingle about and say "Why yes we are members!"Why do you ask?" Seems like a good bunch of owners who treasure their cars as we all do.

Location: The Centennial State | I went up there this evening and met two Bills, a Rob, and some others - very nice folks. I gushed all over their 300s and a group of them were nice enough to gush all over the De Soto - made me feel right at home! This will be a fun weekend. Location: The Centennial State | What a blast! We went to the car show today and saw friends: John and Pam Quinn, Rick Clapham, Don Smallwood, and many others. We met new friends and saw cars. Rows of beautiful cars! The white 300C was the very first 300C produced in 1957. It had several factory non-production items including the twin hood springs, cable hood release, bucket seats, 140 m.p.h. speedometer (note the different ways the numbers are oriented) and a trip odometer! Don Smallwood brought his red 300B and black 300C. The Quinns brought their fabulous 1959, and Rick Clapham brought a ultra-mod 1969 Barracuda - that I sorely wish I would have taken more pictures of. What a fantastic meet. Location: The Centennial State | Image 5263 shows Bill and his 57 300C. He was a really neat fellow. He lives in Pueblo and he restored the C himself. By that, I mean Bill even painted it in his garage! He added some really neat convenience and safety features like disc brakes, a dual master cylinder, a modern temperature-and-compass rear view mirror (mounted up high), and cruise control. He also had a removable cup-holder and stereo console on the transmission hump. It was a great car! Bill was a great fellow to talk with.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1107 Location: Arvada, Colorado (NW Denver Metro Area) | Mike took a lot of neat pics, most of mine I will upload tomorrow. (camera in trunk of 59 and don't feel like going out to the garage to get it) But it is the same pics Mike took. Really enjoyed the 300 club members and they accepted us in the weekend events. Even joined the group. Learned a lot about the 300 and Letter cars in general. Thanks 300 Club! Just got a call from a friend in Arvada and his 59 Sport Fury he bought a week ago came in today so I will see it on Sunday.
