New User Posts: 4 | The Dodge van at the top is a rebadged Commer van built by Chrysler UK (formerly Rootes Motors). They were essentially unchanged from the early 1960's through the mid 1970's.

Location: Parts Unknown | The van was part of Exner's "Lump of Sh!t Look", a failed replacement for the "Forward Look".

Extreme Veteran Posts: 466 Location: Vancouver, Washington | I like that van, it reminds me of the old full size buses from way back. Looks like a cool little family trip taker. What did the power source consist of? Were they a touring minibus of sorts or some sort of camper? Looks like Dodges answer to the VW bus.

Location: Parts Unknown | Few appreciate an ugly car like I do. Nothing was considered uglier than a finned car when Mr. Brilliant here decided that these were the cars for me ! But let's be frank, and call a spade a spade !

New User Posts: 4 | Yes, only thing Dodge about that van is the name. The Commer version was known as the "Spacevan". It was a forward control van like the US Dodge A-100 with the engine between the front seats. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commer
