This is a 1958 Plymouth Fury.

This Beauty does not run.

But she does roll.

MAKE NO MISTAKE: This is a project car, in need of complete restoration.

There are not many of these left around!

So this is indeed a rare find!

Where she originally came from is unknown to me.

I, however, acquired her out of California at the tag end of, what I was told to be, an estate sale.

Beyond that I have no knowlgede.

She is not complete, but I do have ton of parts, including some hard to find items, that will accompany her to her next owner.

She is a 3spd (R, N, D, 1st, 2nd )car, and I have a 150 mph speedo that can be swapped out with the 120 that is currently in her.

For some odd reason, she seems to have a Dodge 325 in her. My suspicion is that at some point someone took the original motor out(whatever that may have been), along with her original 150 mph speedo, and dumped the 325, along with a 120 mph speedo, in as replacements/fillers.

I do, however, have 2 extra motos that I will include with the sale as well......

  1. A late 57' Plymouth 318

  2. A 1958 Fury Specific 318 with Trans....(2sp I think)

I have a 2x4 manifold that will fit either, as well as the 2 4bbl carbs, and a set of aftermarket oval air cleaners.

Other parts include a complete trunk liner kit, door/window seals, new door panels, as well as new back seat side panels. Both front & rear bench seats have been removed, sand blasted, and powder coated. YES, I do have them and they will go with the car.

I have replacemnt rocker panels, and replacement lower/bottom rear quarter panels.

She has 3 of the 4 bumper wings. She is missing the driver's side rear.

I have some extra gold trim, even though her current gold trim seems to be in excellent shape.

I have power brake bellows system set up that will need some reconditioning/clean up that will accompany her, as well as a steering wheel, glove box, tail light lenses, a couple of floor pans (cut out with a torch......eeww), a used wiring harness, and some other odds and ends....

The glass trim, and all glass itself, is in excellent shape. Most, if not all, key trim components seem to be in good shape. I do have some replacement gold trim for the lower grill half. When I bought the car, a couple of years ago, somehow the “V” emblem on the grill went missing during transit. So, I acquired another that will need some clean up and repainting.

The body itself is actually not in too bad of shape, and fairly straight. But because she seems to have been sitting in water/mud/who-knows-what for some time, she has quite a bit of rust from the frame up to about lower mid point of the firewall. As a result it is logical to assume that the frame, and most of her mechanical components, are greatly affected, including the Dodge 325 that is probably seized up.

Since I had planned on restoring her, I acquired a complete (California) 1958 Plymouth Fury chassis for her. This too will accompany her to her new owner, as will the afore mentioned Fury 318 motor that is currently strapped to it.

I have posted a few pics of the car, and her parts, on this listing. However, to see more, I have included a link to a public photo hosting website where I have posted more pics.

I will not negotiate

You bid/buy all, or you don't bid/buy anything......I have an estimated $22K in her, so I think $15000 is more than fair, I loose $7000, you get a nice car to rebuild.

She will only go up in value as time goes on.

So, if you truly want to build yourself a gem, and a piece of history.......not to mention the famous “Christine”movie.......this is it, and I've acquired enough parts for you to get her on the road while you finsh her up! : )

I am neither a mechanic, nor an auto body specialist, so my knowledge may be somewhat limited in those areas, but I will honestly do my best to answer any/all questions you might have, so please feel free to ask : )

Buyer will need to make his/her own arrangements to pick up vehicle, and all that go with her.

I will do what I can to assist.
