Yes, my keen eye can spot NOS cotter keys from across the yard.

LOL, thanks for the compliments, but there is no NOS in the suspension. I glassbeaded and clear coated the idler arm, pitman arm, steering knuckle, factory bolts etc. All rubber, TREs and ball joints are new.

I had Benchworks in Scottsdale, AZ go through the steering box.

Are you not having your carbs progressive?

For now they are setup 1:1. I'll have to see how I like it. It's easy enough to change.

Those are March brackets and pulleys for a 318 LA. I had to make a little adapter that allows me to use the kit on a poly. The alternator hole in the head is in a slightly different location. I used a 1/2" thick steel plate mounted it using the two holes in the head, and then drilled and tapped a hole in the proper location for the March kit.

It was a productive day today. The majority of the under dash wiring is complete. Just waiting on more wireloom from the big brown truck...

I'm using a B&M Quicksilver shifter. I was disappointed to see that the shifter handle was way too tall for this application. I never mocked it up with the dash in place. Sure seemed like there would be enough room

My fix was to cut down the handle on the shifter, and modify the shifter knob so it would slide down over the shaft, rather than thread on. The last step will be to secure it to the handle with JB weld. The shifter ball is hollow, chrome plated plastic which makes modification easy.

Once the headers are painted and installed everything should come together pretty quickly!

I've put 105 miles on the new build so far and I still can't peel the perma-grin off

As is the car is scary fast, that is, the chassis isn't up to the task of putting the horsepower to the ground in a smooth manner. I pulled off to the shoulder of the two lane divided highway that runs through our town, pulled back on the road when it was all clear and got on it hard. I hit 2nd gear and the rear end broke loose with a nice fishtail.

It's one thing to hop in a new 400+ hp car that goes dead straight when you punch it, quite another to actually have to drive the car to keep it straight. Personally I like the scary aspect of it, that's what hotrodding is all about

I gave it a nice jab from 65 up to 80 and was very pleased with how well it moved out in top gear without having to downshift.

I haven't heard a bad comment about the loud exhaust yet, so far everyone loves it. I've been told I should keep the hood off. I just may.

Have you set up your 2x4 staged or are they working together?

They are setup 1:1, not progressive. Response is excellent. Drivability, excellent.

I also had my nephew help me swap out the rear bumper with the one on the parts car. No photo, but it's in better shape. No dents, just a couple scratches.

I now have over 600 miles on this new build. I cut the oil filter open at the 500 mile oil change and it looked great. I have to thank Gary Pavlovich for building a fantastic engine in a no hassle manner. I was always expecting to hear about extra charges, but that never happened. Gary stuck to the quote he gave me and the entire experience went flawlessly. I would also like to thank John Cope of CRT transmissions for another fantastic 727. I have his pro-street reverse pattern manual shift transmission with a Gear Vendors OD unit added on. Saturday night I attended my first car show since owning the Seneca. The old setup was so unreliable I didn't dare drive it into the city. I couldn't have picked a better show to attend as I have never seen so many awesome Mopars in one place anywhere in Arizona prior to this. I heard there were 250 cars in attendance, most Mopars. There were at least two other Forward Look cars there as well. The event was "Mopar Invasion" at Mixteca.

By the way, the hood is now on the car. I put it on yesterday.
