Member Posts: 9 | not sure on wheel base but its around 20 feet long i think and 15 inch rims its hard to park places so thats more of a reason to keep cruising her hahahaha her names beth as she came with some few interesting stories i only know of one more by weber coach builder but thats all 1960 mines definately a one of as its 3 cars in one Edited by Beth 2013-06-24 4:01 AM | ||

Location: Parts Unknown | Aussie cars ran 15's ??? ! I did not know that. Hmmmm ...... So, what is the little access door on the side for ? Can you post a pic of that grille straight on ? Such an odd combination of elements. The round "dome" of a roof is so 1950, the 56 Plymouth fins, and the grille that looks like it came out of the mind that designed the 65 GTO. Sure looks good with those whitewalls. What kind of tyres you have there ? | ||

Member Posts: 9 | haha thats not an acess door in australia we put flowers on roof and it slides out and acts as a step to get to roof easier my tyres a 15 inch coker with 3 and a half inch white wall brought them from antique tyres in sydney australia they were the closest i could get to original ones | ||

Member Posts: 9 | ive had for about a year ive been looking at buying it for 3 yearsbefore i eventually got it it was brought by an undertaker at ararat in 1959 he ordered brand new he kept it until 1964 when he sold for a chev he said no one wanted to be buried in a chrysler ????? hahaha i sent him pics and he said she looks exactly the same as he remembers nothing changed it still had the original hand book in glove box he has sent me the original docket and rgo papers for her and it all matches he used it for a lot of the patients at aradale mental assylum vic over 900 he thinks just from there so shes well used it only has 90 thousand miles done on clock then i chased up where he sold it to tonkin bros funeral melbourne they remember it as they had 2 silver ones and only one black one they all remember the saying on side as none had exept her then all i know is she was barned for 30 or more years then i got her with alot of storys about things i thought yeah yeah whatever but im begining to change my mind hahahaha it drives absoulutely beautiful on road except the nocking off coffin handles hahahaha it has no radio no heater no ac nobrake booster its a bit like a train takes a bit to stop hahahaha Edited by Beth 2013-06-25 1:32 AM | ||
