I am in the process of going through the sources.txt list found on various websites that lists resources for all kinds of suppliers and shops for the classic car industry. It is a vast list and some of it is incomplete, other entries have changed or are in error, and, sadly, some have passed on.

I would really like to include Forwardlookers favorite transmission shops and suppliers. If you wish, post here, pm me or send an email. It will be much appreciated and the information will be shared once finished. I have pretty much finished what was given under 'transmissions' and am waiting for suggestions.

A web site giving all the necessary information would be great. I'll visit it and transfer the information. If there is no website then I'll need to know who they are, where they are, how to contact them and what they do.

As an example here is the listing for Fatsco:

Hennie Jacobs is an absolute treasure - a great guy to talk with and an expert on Mopar transmissions. He has a bunch of Chrysler/DeSoto cars in his collection and he knows a Torqueflite like the back of his hand.

If you are anywhere within driving distance, he's worth it.

you might want to relate or review costs , maybe by comparison , you don't have to give actual costs unless you want to---------------------------------------------------------later
