This is the first time I've seen the interior on a 60 Diplomat. It's interesting they used the DeSoto Dash board, which is a modified 60 Dodge dash board, but they used the Dodge steering wheel, rather than the DeSoto wheel. This is a great example of just how interchangeable major components were to enable "badge engineering". When these cars were built in Windsor, they got the Plymouth I/P and the rectangular steering wheel. | ||
