Ooooh, nice car!

Built toward the end of the year, so a lot of the early-build glitches should have been ameliorated.

A 57 Royal 4-door hardtop(!)...one of 8,824 built, out of 287,608 total 1957 Dodge production...do the math; maybe 150
of them survive in registered-operating condition, around the world?

Anyway, in no particular order, that car was delivered to its selling dealership via Truck.

It has undercoating (probably helping in great measure to its survival), 2-tone steering wheel, heater/defroster, stone shields,
back-up lights, LT O.S. mirror, SPINNERS(!), push-button radio, and the day-nite mirror.

It's got the TorqueFlite trannie, Solex windows with shaded widshield, and, OBTW, factory A/C!

Its paint scheme is the Deluxe White top, fins, and lower, with Misty (or "Mint", as it was also called) green across its middle
"Saddle" area.

No Broadcast Sheet found on it; behind the glove box or underneath the OEM-standard green RUBBER floor mats?

The car could have the optional green carpeting, but that option (along with all of its other ones, like the RT O.S. mirror, E.G.)
will be disclosed on the B.-Sheet and/or on the IBM Build card.

Its interior is REALLY lovely in green; it is called "Linear Lucidity" (which a lot of us have a hard time
relating-to)....

So, do we get to see this ride, over on the Members Rides message board?

Well yes I will post some pictures up as soon I get some good ones if it. It needs some work as it sat for 25 years behind a shop. However it's interior is great and everything is there! A really neat car I am excited to start on restoring.

Be careful with its upholstery condition.

At the least, a local shop should (carefully, of course) remove its upholstery and replace its underlying foam padding.

Actually, right-before that is done, a mobile carpet-cleaning company can clean its upholstery, and then,
let the upholstery dry out, before it is removed.

Does it have optional carpeting, or the standard (green-) rubber floor mats?

The back seat could be un-padded, too.

SMS should stock, on-hand, any cloth/vinyl/beading that might be necessary to restore the seats.

Well the front seat is unfortunately not great. It will need recovering for sure. The back seat is great! Headliner looks great and the door panels good as well as the dash. It does have the green carpeting but haven't got into it's condition as of yet. Trunk floor is rusted pretty good but not sure of the condition of the floors yet, I know there's rust but not sure how deep yet. The part I checked so far was solid.

Can you post up a pic of the green foot/heel pad?

Never seen one of them (yet).
