Location: Melbourn, Cambridgeshire | Hi all,
I’m looking for some help in finding a new speedo cable for my 57 Dodge Royal Lancer.
I have removed the old one and sent it off to Customville so they could try to find a match for it.
I had an email from them today that said they can only find one that is 5” shorter than the one that I sent them.
Does anybody know if this will fit as I can’t recall how much slack there was on the old one?
Or can anyone point me in the direction of an original cable?
Any help gratefully received.
Thanks
Lee
P.S.
I’m hoping to get it in good enough shape to take it to Pakefield this year (fingers crossed)

Location: Perth Australia | I do not know any manufacturers in the UK, but over here ther are gauge manufacturers that can make any sort of cable you want with useing your old one as a core or sample.
You didnt say if its right or left drive, right drive is difficult to get s/h as they are longer than lhd ones.
The company I used over here is called flexdrive agencies, if worse comes to worse, you could give them a call and see if they can sort it out for you
