| Right now when i push R all is OK, N the car drives also backward, D is neutral, 1 and 2 ok |

Location: WHEELING,WV.>>>HOME OF WWVA | cable adjustment at the cable end/wheel
(1) engage in reverse-drain about 3 qts. of fluid
(2) remove cable wheel lock bolt
(3) remove neutral switch-cup and seal
(4) have a friend hold button in reverse until process is complete
(5) back off cable adjustment until 2 or 3 threads are showing
(6) push cable back into housing just enough to seat o ring and turn adjustment wheel just enough to make contact with trans. case
(7) let pressure off the adjustment end of cable-turn clockwise to next hole then turn 4 more holes-replace neutral switch and TOP OFF WITH FLUID TO FULL |

'57 doesn't have the adjustment wheel, it has the slotted slide adjustment shown in the link above. |
