Looks great! Claims it needs brake work. Price is kinda high IMO.

Looks really nice. If it were mine, I would swap out those aluminum door frames with some steel ones from a Windsor and paint them body color. I think it looks better that way. Either that, or I might just black anodize the aluminum to make them blend in even more.

It would take some money to put it back in close to original shape. The sheet metal seems solid as he states. Was there a strap on the back of the front seat on New Yorker's???

Yes there was. My '57 NYer 4dr hardtop has the exact same strap.

It's been 2 days since this was posted. I am surprised it has not sold? I think this is lot of car for the money. Looks great!

Matt, I have seen pics of 57 Imperials with the push out rear quarter glass.

Steve.

he has had it for sale for a long time, he didn't have pictures though, he didn't answer the phone when I called. Old guy and probably cranky

It needs to come down slightly but I think that would happen normally in haggling a bit. Maybe he is firm on price, pretty nice car actually and all original.

going to need some work, I like those window frames

do you need me to look at it? I think he's being very honest.

I would get some pics of under it and that will tell you the whole story

Looks like a pretty cool car at that price... assuming that it's not full of bondo. Dark blue with a green interior looks unusual to me. Is that the original colors?
