Expert 5K+ Posts: 9911 Location: Lower Mainland BC | I was in the area around LA including Pasadena, Burbank, LA, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Long Beach, Torrance, Huntington Beach and Orange (the town). I only saw three Forward Look cars and all of them were 55-56s. Admittedly I missed a couple of car shows, e.g. Edelbrock in Torrnace on Saturday, where I might have seen more and perhaps met up with DesilonD and one of his FL cars (Sorry, Dave ) Here they are in order of encounter: 56 Chrysler New Yorker St. Regis. Saw this one three different times (twice last weekend at Ruby's in Redondo Beach and once this past Saturday at the Hermosa Pier square). Never managed to meet the owner (somebody from Gardena CA, I was told) 55 Desoto Coronado Sedan (at the Hermosa Pier square) 56 Plymount Belvedere (at the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo) Edited by 56D500boy 2017-05-08 12:04 PM (RedondoBeach56ChryslerStRegis_1.jpg) (RedondoBeach56ChryslerStRegis_2.jpg) (RedondoBeach56ChryslerStRegis_3.jpg) (HermosaBeachMay6201755Desoto_1.jpg) (HermosaBeachMay6201755Desoto_2.jpg) (HermosaBeachMay6201755Desoto_3.jpg) (HermosaBeachMay6201755Desoto_4.jpg) (ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_1.jpg) (ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_2.jpg) (ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_3.jpg) (ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_4.jpg) (ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_5.jpg) Attachments ---------------- RedondoBeach56ChryslerStRegis_1.jpg (174KB - 128 downloads) RedondoBeach56ChryslerStRegis_2.jpg (144KB - 113 downloads) RedondoBeach56ChryslerStRegis_3.jpg (154KB - 126 downloads) HermosaBeachMay6201755Desoto_1.jpg (151KB - 120 downloads) HermosaBeachMay6201755Desoto_2.jpg (107KB - 123 downloads) HermosaBeachMay6201755Desoto_3.jpg (142KB - 125 downloads) HermosaBeachMay6201755Desoto_4.jpg (143KB - 125 downloads) ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_1.jpg (148KB - 132 downloads) ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_2.jpg (150KB - 119 downloads) ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_3.jpg (156KB - 117 downloads) ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_4.jpg (158KB - 125 downloads) ElSegundoMuseum56Belvedere_5.jpg (138KB - 130 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9681 Location: So. Cal | You could have swung by my place and seen a lot more than that I agree with Greg, that '56 is probably the nicest looking '56 New Yorker I have seen, and that '56 Belvie is really sweet too. I really like the fabric in it.

Expert Posts: 3155 Location: NY & VT | The door fabric is correct, but the seat fabric has been replaced with a somewhat era-correct looking but factory incorrect fabric I believe. They could have obtained the correct fabric from SMS but maybe didn't want to wait for 2 years lol. Edited by firedome 2017-05-09 9:34 AM
