Location: 33844 | Hi all. I got a replacement windshield for my 1959 Dodge CRL 2 dr ht , but the only rubber I can find is from Andy Burnbaum and is 2 piece. My glass guy wants me to find a 1 piece !! Does it exist ??
Strange that Steele Rubber, Bobs Classic Auto Glass, and Metro Glass do not have ANY windshield rubber for me !!! |

Rubber seems to survive better in East or Wet states rather than sunny West states where it drys hard, so if you buy 2nd hand, be careful where you buy from. although i recently fitted a new Screen in my 2dr HT 59 Dodge from California and the rubber was still supple , so does depend if the car was stored well i guess.. |
