I wonder which years of MoPar rear window defrosters are the same units as 1957. As far as I have seen they look pretty much alike from the 50s to the late 60s.

I have the dash switch, the vent bezel for outlet and the inlet "speaker grille" bezel from 1957 so I would need just the 6x9 blower motor setup, the hose and the duct to complete the defroster.

Just what I have figured out from pictures. So maybe if I try a 1960s Valiant defroster it would pass fine as I do have the correct grille and vent.

I have a '67 Dart setup and it is pretty much the same except the outlet is shorter, so that part would need to be fabbed.

I have the complete set up from a '59 Saratoga.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/263381094857

Just to confirm the Imperial ones are the same. I should have 1 or 2.
