Expert 5K+ Posts: 7402 Location: northern germany | when you put them back on after the paint job use extreme care, you may want to shim (with washers) the bolts so the sharp edges do not damage the paint, the factory paint was more forgiving and flexible than the newer paints. you may want to use sealer between the handle and door but this makes the handles extremely hard to remove. Expert 5K+ Posts: 7402 Location: northern germany | my oe dashpad is still there but i fixed it with polyurethane and unfortunately painted it with a rubber paint that does not like heat. now 27 years later it looks weird and not stock anymore the oe 60 fury dashpad is plain, with a leather like surface and without any ornamentation, unlike 61. this is exactly how i remember it (only in black): http://www.justdashes.com/2011/10/1960-plymouth-fury-dash-pad-repro... Veteran Posts: 172 Location: Newcastle, NSW AUSTRALIA | Hi Sid They have replied with $500 for the dash pad + $100 to $200 for colour matching + shipping. At that rate I think I'll get the trimmer to recover the 1 I have Cheers Gra | ||
