Veteran Posts: 154 Location: Locked in my Canadian garage.... | Well, I bought an abandoned project. Needs a ton of work, I need to make space here and then I'll bring it home. Until then I'm collecting parts!!! (Regent1.jpg) Attachments ---------------- Regent1.jpg (228KB - 174 downloads)

Veteran Posts: 154 Location: Locked in my Canadian garage.... | Interior is pretty good shape. Floors are rusty, gotta replace. 70,000 orignal miles, he put new rockers in, cut out all the rust, welded in new metal, did the bodywork and paint... but the air lines had moisture in them. blisters in the paint. I have to strip and repaint. Was a flathead 6. Won't be a flathead 6 again....... All the trim is there and nice shape, bumpers are good for a driver but need redoing down the road IMO... It'll be a project I'm sure.....

Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | Wow, glad to see another one is being saved! I had the pleasure of owning two (yes, TWO!) of them at some point, and they are great and rare cars. If you have any questions specific to these canadian rarities, I'd be glad to help. (IMG_2232.JPG) Attachments ---------------- IMG_2232.JPG (125KB - 178 downloads)

I'm sure I will have questions! I owned another Canadian Dodge 30+ years ago....... it was a four door and I was a little CrAzY. I was in the process of making a lightweight street racing oddity when..... the car was STOLEN. I'm sure someone needed the front end. ARGH!!!! I am Currently working on one of two 58 Dodge Mayfair Convertibles I have . Not sure. I might just repaint the colours it is, my buddy did all the bodywork then painted it, there are blisters in the paint so it needs to be stripped, he had moisture in his paint booth lines he found out.. Interior is blue, dash is painted nicely white and blue....... so not sure really...... Open to suggestions as always!!!!

I'm bringing it home in a week or two and I will have to take a look. My friend I bought it off might know. Panels and seats are blue so some sort of blue I'm sure...
