Location: Wisconsin | I am in the process of parting out a 1956 DeSoto Fireflite Sportsman 2 door hardtop. I am keeping some parts for my other '56 that I am restoring, but it is mostly still all there. If anyone wants to buy anything, I am planning to go to Iola in a couple weeks and can save you the shipping. Let me know what you need! |

Which car is this? I thought you sold that gray and red '56, do you have yet another parts car? What good parts do you have that would interchange with my '56 Imperial? |

Location: Wisconsin | Jon, yes the red/gray car sold (and is driving around in Kansas!). I have another '56 that is a parts car. I have used a few parts (primarily sheetmetal) for my '56 that I am restoring and will be keeping a few more parts as spares/upgrades. I am not sure what all interchanges with your Imperial off the top of my head. I would think glass, quite possibly the seat frames I just listed for sale, possibly some floor sheet metal (but I cut most of that out), the roof, and some other miscellaneous components like a power brake booster, power brake canister, windshield trim, etc. If you have something particular in mind, let me know or you can even come check it out for yourself since it's close!
Ray, I will have to look at what I have and get back to you on that. I am not sure if all the pieces are there or not to make a complete set. |
