I pulled this from the trunk of my 300C. Anyone know what it is? It has 3 electrical connections on it, and a drive thing coming out the side with 3 ports on the top.

Nathan, sorry, it seems that I mixed it up, now that I compare with the earler motor/drive unit it certainly looks like the same in my Power seat.

Compare with the photo below

Here are more parts I am not familiar with from the trunk of my 300C. Do these go near the front grill somewhere maybe? The thin one is stamped sheet metal with staples all along it, while the wide one is a hard cardboard stuff, but more firm and better quality than the stuff you typically find under the dash of these cars. It reminds me of the cover used on the back of a VW dash.

More parts I am not familiar with from the 300C. These have got to be part of this car, but I am not familiar with them.

The last parts turn out to be covers that go over the rear window regulator openings on the inside. I have no idea what that little bracket is used for. What is really odd though, is that NONE of my other cars came with this cover on them. Were the 300's the only ones to use these coverings? It could be a power window only part, but my black/white '57 New Yorker has power windows and doesn't have these on it either.

The panels are for the 2 dr coupes like the 300's
My C and D both utilize these parts as did the 57 NY'er coupe I parted years ago

My two '57 Windsors were untouched when I purchased them. Neither one had these on them. None of my '57 New Yorkers has them either, and neither does my '58. My 300D didn't have them either, but no surprise because that one was missing a lot of stuff. I haven't checked the DeSoto yet, but this is the first time I have seen them. What is the bracket on them used for?
