Original A/C car?

I don't think so. No air scoops on the rear fenders by the roof pillars and no vent on the rear parcel shelf and non-stock condensor in front of the radiator = not OE A/C

Ah, ok.

Yeah, I was noting the condensor underhood - figured it might've been a tad big to be a tranny or oil cooler.....

I'm sure that it is an A/C condenser, just not a OE factory one from 1956.

As for the trans cooler, the 56 Powerflites (and maybe all Powerflites (??)) were air-cooled. Weird I know but that is what they did back then. Not sure when the first Mopar automatics had trans fluid coolers (in the rad).

I'm not certain on the trans cooler built into the radiator, but I have had a factory torque converter oil cooler for 1957 Dodge truck sweptlines with 3 speed Loadflite. I think it was only used on 1957 trucks, so it could mean integration was in 1958 or close to it.
