New User Posts: 1 | I am restoring a 1958 Dodge Sweptside pickup for my dad. I am looking for a few parts: 1. The push button automatic transmission pod that is mounted to the left of the steering wheel. 2. The license plate light brackets that fit inside the rear bumper. Any help on where I might find these would be greatly appreciated.

You wont get much exposure in this help forum, and at first glance most viewers wont connect your project with the Forward Look theme. I suggest you re-post in "1955 -1961 Forward Look Mopar General Discussion" and add a picture of your project and some background on the Dodge Sweptside, and maybe on your project. That will generate more interest. I looked up on google and found a link to https://www.conceptcarz.com/z21104/dodge-d-100-sweptside.aspx which gives some useful background you could use, as it shows a definite connection between your pickup and the Forward Look cars. You could maybe add this to your post, as I think it would be of interest to many. If you want to add a picture to your post, type in the text first, then hit submit. You will then be prompted if you want to add an attachment. Pics have to be jpg format and less than 250 mb. There is a free graphics program called Irfanview which will allow you to resize and save in a different format.

But I don't see the faceplate for it. You could contact him and see if he has the whole thing for it. But it looks like the housing is for '61-'63 only? Maybe the dash is different where it mounts? http://www.ebaystores.com/Erics-Classic-Dodge-Truck-Parts/_i.html?_... Edited by Powerflite 2019-07-06 10:03 AM
