Is it the same gasket betwen the manifould and the exhaust on a 300 and a New Yorker 1961?

Are you referring to the cross ram? If both are cross ram equiped it will be the same gasket.

No not the intake gasket for the Cross ram. I have made my own gasket between the exhaust manifould and the exhaust system and they leak after some time.
