Subject: Windshield Moldings Not Sitting Flat

Anybody had the problem of window moldings not sitting flat on the windshield rubber. I am guessing they get some warp due to heat after polishing. They sit nice and close in the clips but the other side sits up off the rubber.

Common problem..very few understand how critical it is when the moldings are removed.
If you don`t want to remove the moldings again you can try to wedge out the molding just enough to get a lot of good sealer/glue compound (polyurethane).
This is only possible if you have cleaned the rubber seal and moldings very well.
Then you weight down the high spots with whatever you can figure out...blaster sand sacks for instance.
It might work well ..or not.
