I have made a post or two, but figured I would introduce myself/car. Project may be an understatement! Figured instead of a million pictures to resize, would just load up a video. I swooped this basket case up 6 minutes after it was posted in early May. The gentleman I bought it from drove from Missouri to Pennsylvania to pick it up in 2004. This explains the extensive rust! So far, I started patching the frame, but if I could find a solid one within 8 hours of me I would consider it. Ordered floor, trunk, and rockers from real steel 7 weeks ago (they are running behind.) In the early stages of looking for an engine/trans combo locally, but I doubt I will be ready for them before the fall. I really want to keep the push buttons, or get a 3 speed push button setup. So a 62-65 727? After a post here, I am pretty sure the trans that is in it, is the original or it came out of another 1958, so if I found an older engine that bolts to it would also need to find a converter. Luckily it came with most of the missing pieces that were not in the ad. As I sort through it, I am sure there will be a lot of missing pieces

Looks like you've got a bit of work ahead of you, but worse cars have been saved!!

I have 25 or so '57-8's for parts, or even entire bodies that are fairly solid, if you find you need additional parts.
