Since I have gotten my 57 Dodge on the road the front end suspension has gotten very squeaky. I have greased it but its in the dry rubber supports. Are there bushing kits available? Id rather not take the whole front end apart is there a way to "lubricate" the rubber in it?

I know nothing. Have you looked at supliers for bushings, rock auto, kanter, and others that I can't remeber.

Maybe, jack it up to take the weight off the bushings and spray a lot of silicone lubercating spray into the bushings, or not.

Ask any alignment shop what they are spraying on dry bushings these days. I don't think they would hesitate with a helpful answer to someone who loves cars. For that matter, parts houses probably have excellent recommendations too.

That was going to be my suggestion as well. I would add, "Use a nozzle with the little red spray tube (like comes with WD40 (at least in Canada)) to get the silicone lubricant right in there.

??

From my experience rebuilding many of these front ends recently, the bushings you get from RockAuto or especially Kanter Auto, are total garbage. I've since relied solely on buying Moog or other name brand parts directly through parts stores or off eBay. Outfits like Kanter will sell you knock-off bushings that breakdown and disintegrate almost immediately. Considering the expense and headache that a front end rebuild can cost, it's definitely worth it in the long run to find the higher-end components. I've personally never had a squeak from any of my builds. :/

Just a follow up to this I tried some of that AT205. Its supposed to swell rubber. It worked for one trip and the squeak was back. I then jacked it up and found out the noise is from the upper A arm bushings being hard and dry. I sprayed them for a couple of days with silicone lube. I put on about 6 coats. The squeak is now gone and the bushings are softer and slick. So I will see how long this lasts. But it appears to be the better fix.

I'm going to spray all of my suspension bushings. They don't squeak yet but may as well take good care of what you have and be preventative. This is an easy fix.
