Location: The Centennial State | It has been pretty warm in Denver recently, but things could change pretty quickly. I took a few images of the De Soto this morning, before the Broncos played. Beautiful morning! Location: The Centennial State | Thanks, Roger! Not my house! I live pretty close to Circle Drive near the Denver Country Club. Circle Drive is nice for taking pictures because there are typically few cars parked on street, the houses are so beautiful, and because the streets are not on a grid - I can usually find a nice angle relative to the sun almost any time of year! Dang, I should have applied some wet tire shine to it though!

Location: The Centennial State | Nathan, from what I know - you may be the reining Grand Poobah of '58 De Sotos! Do you have three or four? I admire all of the work you have done - very impressive. I was never able to fix the front bumper guard you gave me. I took out an ad in Adventures and they put in in Desoto.org - I have never received so many emails from scammers! I even had a crank caller! The only actually helpful call I got was from Tad Parker. He's a good fellow. He pointed me to all sorts of sources he knows about. I still have some digging to do! I thought the ads only went into Adventures. I don't think I would do another ad in there. Too many scammers and cranks!

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9961 Location: So. Cal | I just have 4 of them, I don't think that's enough for a poobah status. The front guards are the easiest to come by because they are the same on '58 Chryslers. It's the rear ones that are hard. I only have one set of them even though 2 of my cars originally came with it. I am thinking of reproducing them eventually, but it isn't easy. Similar in difficulty to reproducing the Plymouth bumper wings. I'll keep an eye out for you. I've seen people parting out '58 Chryslers with them on it and I'll pick them up for you if I can.
