![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: The Centennial State | It is with great sadness I relay the passing of Tony Richard last Sunday. Tony died suddenly in his sleep at the age of 68. There are so many wonderful memories of Tony. He was a great inspiration - a business owner who made his own way in life with a beautiful family and a wide circle of friends. He was a very kind and knowledgable person and he will be dearly missed. (Tony.JPG) (Tony 1.JPG) Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]()

Member Posts: 18 Location: Englewood, Colorado | Aww, what a terrible loss. Tony generously and selflessly helped me any time I needed expert advice on my '61 wagon, my '71 Barracuda, my early hemi powered pickup or my wife's '87 D250. Gosh, I've been pestering Tony and family for 40 years. Wow. It was always a pleasure to visit with him at his shop, swap meet, drag strip, cruise or show. He and his family were tireless advocates and supporters of the Mopar hobby and I was always proud to call him my Mopar Guru. R.I.P. Tony. I miss you already, Chris

Good choice for a car. :) Hi, Nathan: No, Tony was not a FL member, but occasionally tuned in to the posts. That was my car at one time, Tony is behind the wheel. I traded it to Tony's son Gerad, who still owns it. Tony was locally famous in the MoPar and performance scene. He generally preferred the muscle cars, but his interests were broad and extended to the FL cars. He owns a 57 Firedome convertible, among many others.

Member Posts: 18 Location: Golden, CO | Tony and Ivy not only started and owned Mopower Masters, specializing in repairing all things Mopar, but were also active in the collector car club scene. Tony was president of RPM and a member of Colorado Mopar and WPC Clubs, a CCCC rep and perhaps more. He had worked on my car several times, most recently installing a dual point and new oil pan. Tony was a wealth of knowledge, as well as able to converse on politics. As we were in some of the same clubs, he will be missed. Ivy and son Gerad are in our thoughts. Rich Kaup
