Nope: That's for newer Manual transmissions: http://www.brewersperformance.com/proddetail.php?prod=MT-90

MT-90 Red Line manual transmission 75W90 all-synthetic lubricant. 1 quart bottle, 4 quarts required for A833 transmissions, as most require approximately 3 1/2 quarts for fill. Sold each

In 1973 I owned a 69 Dodge charger with an 833 4 speed and was moving to Alaska. I went to a local Chrysler dealer to ask if there was anything I should change on my car and the mechanic I talked to advised i changed the oil in the trans. to lighter motor oil or atf, and that I could run it year round. I did that and it sure shifted nice at -20 or colder and never had any problems.

Newer manufacturers went with ATF because it has less drag and better efficiency. It might provide a little less protection, but the main drawback is that it can drain out easier if you have a small leak.
