Replacement Power Window Motors FYI:

(I will be posting this on the Forward Look Facebook Group as well).

In case anyone is unaware and in need, I discovered that the 1963-64 Ford Thunderbird front door power window motor is a suitable replacement for the DELCO window motors used in the "Dura" type power window regulators in Forward Look cars, AND they are available new (reproductions are bing made). I do not know if they will work in the "Autolite" type of window regulator.

I bought one from Pat Wilson's Thunderbird Parts and it fit the right rear window of my 1959 Dodge 2 door hardtop. It is NOT inexpensive ($250), so an alternative might be to find a good used one which might be more readily available than the Mopar motors.
The main difference is that instead of using the motor housing as ground and two threaded-stud terminals for the power leads like the Mopar, the Ford motor uses a 3-wire connector including a ground wire (which I simply attached to the chassis).
It comes with a 3-wire harness/connect attached (similar to a trailer wiring connector) for which you can find a mate online, or just cut it off and use your own method to adapt it to the ring terminal ends of the Mopar (I spliced/soldered in a 3-wire connector that I already had). Candidate wire connectors you could buy are the JT&T 2503F, Cole Hersee 11173BX, or Hopkins 11137935 (available at Amazon).
Red wire is down (clockwise spin), Yellow is up, and black is ground.

I have included pics of original and new motors, and the wiring pigtails that you might use.
