Location: Switzerland		I desperately need a 17 teeth Speedo Gear Pinion OE part nr(1646406) for my 59 TF Torqueflite with a 2.93 rear !!! Looking all over, nobody seems to have one ?!?

Location: So. Cal		The problem is that many transmissions got thrown out without saving the speedo gears. Now, many years later, there are very few extra gears around. To get one, you have to part out a whole transmission. People are reluctant to do that. You could try BigM or James Rawa, but otherwise, you will need to purchase a ratio adapter that will convert your speedo cable to the proper speed.

Location: Switzerland		Thanks for your help, I bought the ebay offer. That purple wheel. hope it fits. Normally purple would have 19 teeth. Let's see, what they will send.
