Location: Pacific Northwest		Has anyone seen or have a factory bulletin regarding tail lights either offered or added to the Dodge Dart line in 1961?

There have been plenty of discussions and opinions of why they were added. I want to know if they were mandated by certain states.

Was there a recall or any sort of legal action taken against Chrysler. Thanks for your help.

As a side question, Why was the Dodge singled out and not the Chrysler as well?

Location: Under the X in Texas		The Chrysler lenses are nearly twice the total square inches than the small series Dodge.
I've always heard the accessory was offered as a response to complaints from the public that the factory lights were inadequately small and visible. So Chrysler wanted their dealers to have a quick fix to keep these cars leaving inventory and getting parked in driveways.
