Hi I am looking for help with finding an electronic ignition preferably with an integral coil in the unit are their any available that will fit the 383 engine I have looked at the large red cap HEI type and it looks as though it will clash with the rocker cover
I would rather not go with the type that has a control box separate as I have had issues with failure on my Dodge
I would consider the type that fits in the original distributor I am running a single points distributor currently
Any help suggestions appreciated thanks Phil

Pertronix makes electronic modules that will fit into a dual point distributor.

I sell these brackets to mount an HEI module to the bottom of a Mopar electronic distributor.

^^^^ This is by far the best option. Looks just about fatory original, performs well, and you can get generic GM HEI modules everywhere if you have a failure on the road. Pretty sure Walmart stocks them . . .
