Has anyone found working solution for replacing this broken part?

I think i must try to find someone to do whole new part, because it seems impossible to find parts for this system.

Of course im intrested hints if someone has made somekind "fixing" for this.

This is my own solution.

My friend cut that first version for me, and i made rest with hand tools.

I get Cad picture later, after last modifications are made.

Looks good. Also looks like something that could be made with a CNC system.

I am trying to find the PN for the original part.

While I am doing that, I have to point out that the original cast iron Torqueflites were *NOT* "A-488" transmissions. They were "A-466" transmissions. This has been discussed before but it keeps coming back up, like a bad penny.

.
And while I am searching, I found a factory solution (much cheaper to make) as used on the aluminum cased 727s:

(The search continues )

I don't know where that 488 came from, anyway my bad.
This part was made by automatic plasma cutter, so that was reason for "raw" part.

Do you have partnumber for that 727 part?

Sorry, no. But I think that I found the PN for the A-466 part, 1672 070, LEVER, Manual Valve Control.

Searching for "1672070 torqueflite transmission control lever" may have showed up the later 727 part, but not the A-466 part:

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=1672070+torquefli...

Good luck.
