I saw this on eBay while I was in France last week at I thought that the asking price was ridiculous and decided to wait and buy the magazine when I got home.

SO I bought it today, thinking that it would be maybe CDN$6.95 or maybe CDN$8.95. I bought some other things and when I saw the total, I did a second take. Wow. The Canadian price was CDN$14.95 which is basically the eBay price in US $ converted to CDN$ (but with no shipping). In fact now that I see the US$ price on the eBay magazine (US$11.95), eBay price (not including shipping) is a good price.

Doesn't matter. I have the magazine and from a quick look, they have done a decent job of talking about the 1956 Mopar cars. Naturally, I was looking to see what they screwed up regarding the 1956 Dodge D500s, but they did a pretty good job. Nothing outrageously wrong. Maybe something new that I didn't know about.

The cover photo is the same colour combo as one of my uncles had back in the day as a 4 dr 56 Custom Royal hardtop. Same colour combo as Depislon Dave's car I believe.

My uncle's car was one of the inspirations in my purchase of my 56 Dodge D500 4dr Custom Royal sedan so I had to have the magazine.

I haven't looked at the magazine yet, but I heard my dad's old boss has his '56 Fury featured in the article. Pretty neat.

I haven't looked at the magazine yet, but I heard my dad's old boss has his '56 Fury featured in the article. Pretty neat.

Finally got around to a) finding the magazine where I had put it 2 years ago and b) starting to scan the pages.

I have an issue with the even pages. I have to scan them upside down because of the configuration of my scanner and
when I digitally rotate them after the scan, the image is getting all pixelated. As a result, I only went as far as the start
of the 56 Desotos.
