In case you end up with Dodge Hemi wire covers that don't fit over the solid lifter adjustment bumps on a 56 or 57 D500 hemi valve cover,'
here are some dimensions that you could use to cut your own bump "relief"s. Hope this helps somebody.

(And, yes I know 57 D500s had hydraulic lifters but somebody in the valve cover department apparently didn't get the "Delete the Bumos" memo. )

This one is for the passenger side of the engine. The driver's side is probably different at the ends but the main spacing dimensions will be the same.

Just to follow up with a bit more info.

1. And by "Delete the Bumos", I obviously meant "Delete the BumPs" (used to clear the exhaust valve adjustable rockers)

2. The spark plug tube seals are held to the valve cover by metal retaining rings about 1/8" (maybe 3/32" ?) thick with the dimensions as shown below.

3. The retaining rings are held down by the wire covers, as shown below.

Incidentally, the rubber tube seals were common to all the 55-58 hemis, i.e. PN 1324 940. Likewise the metal retaining rings, PN 1324 941, common for all the 55-58 hemis.

Hope that helps somebody.
