how was the underside painted? all gray or a body color? what typr of cver was used in the areas inside the infrastrucrure? thanks

I believe Detroit 56 Dodge trunk undersides were top colour and LA 56 Dodges were a grey made from mixed left-over enamels.

The sound deadening panels were rectangular and did NOT cover all of the undersides. 57s were different (covered all of the undersides).

thanks, my convertible is an L A car so the gray color makes sense
