The dash of the '60 Desoto.

Back seat of the '60 Desoto.

A driver's side view of the '60 Desoto.

Another view of the '60 Desoto, with Mark's Desoto's trunk lid in the foreground and an early '50s Buick on the left.

This '60 Desoto is for sale as a complete project car. It is an excellent starting point.

Looking for a '59 Pontiac? John has this four door hardtop and a wagon.

The alternative was to soak down the nut and threads with Zep or Liquid Wrench and let it penetrate for a while. This sped things up considerably.

Using the "flame wrench" to remove the exhaust manifold studs.

Torch time!

The axle and driveshaft are out of the way. Notice the shock mounts hanging from the shocks.

If you are experiencing excessive body flexing on rough roads, it may not be the suspension nor the body mounts. The latter can't do much good if there is no body to mount up to.
