Back in February 2010 I decided to look for a 1956 Chrysler Windsor. There were no nice cars at the classic car trader, so I searched for a New Yorker as well. Originally I was seeking for a Windsor was the reason, the Windsor had a polysphere combustion chamber engine like my truck I was owning for about ten years.
While searching for a New Yorker the advertisement of a dealer in Milbank S.D. appeared. I fell in love with the color the car was painted. According the picture displayed the interior looked really nice, the engine bay in stock condition like from the factory but with a lot of patina. I noted that the seller had German roots so I trusted and decided to buy it without visiting the car. It was very risky I know, but I got a very rock solid car.
Big thank you to the seller. He linked me to a shipping company in Canada who organised the shipping to my country.
Please enjoy and any comment is appreciated. Thank you.

Together we did a new adjustment of the front and rear brakes, relocated the b/t, Wiz centered the U-Joke - this is a picture after the test ride.

This picture is taken 2.16 p.m. at the way to Sturko island

On the big bridge, called the Öresundsbron, between Denmark (Copenhagen/Malmo) and Sweden at 10.20 a.m.

Inside the ferry Schleswig Holstein at 7.43 a.m.

At the highway in Germany north of Essen at 1.16 p.m. The car was running like a Swiss clock at 65 mph with a medium consumption of around 17 mpg. The most annoying thing was that many times I coulnd't pass a slower car or a truck, because many by passers were googling at my car, slowing down and locking me a the right hand lane.

At the custom in Switzerland to Germany at 7.12 a.m.

Colored cast iron and finished the installation. The exhaust system I purchased at Waldrons Exhaust.

There is a lot of axial lash at the pinion shaft. Later - at Wiz he discovered that the distance washers almost were eaten up.

The original U-Joke has slight lash at one arm. I decided to replace it /w a NOS from Birnbaum.

After elaborating and correcting the wiring harness from the motor bay and the dashboard, the brake warning light is working again.
